The Town of Prosperity requires anyone conducting business within the Town’s limits to have a current business license. 

A business license is based on a business’ prior year’s gross income and is valid from January to December of each year.  To find the license rate that applies to a particular type of business, please contact the Prosperity Town Hall by calling 803-364-2622. 

To apply for a business license, please download the Business License Application.  The application must be entirely filled out.  Once complete, please submit it to the Prosperity Town Hall.  Alternatively, you may mail the completed application along with the appropriate license fee.  Click here for the mailing address.
