Recreation Since 1993, the Town has worked with local volunteers to provide quality recreation for children 4 to 14 years of age.  Starting with Tee Ball and Coaches Pitch the program has expanded to include those sports as well as Girl’s Softball and Soccer.  As the program expanded so have the facilities. Today in addition to the Town’s original Dixie Youth fields, the Town has a recreation complex complete with baseball field, soccer field, basketball court, playground, recreation office/concession stand and a second stand alone baseball field.  In 2006 the Town Partnered with the County of Newberry through the YMCA to offer a more organized program that would continue to use all Town facilities as well as Sponsors.   PARD GRANT RECEIVED FOR NEW PARK EQUIPMENT AT TOWN CENTER AND LANGFORD STREET PARKS.  LOOK FOR UPGRADES SOON!
